Everything was perfect, with especially helpful staff, met required needs. The location was peaceful, specially it was close to a train station which was useful. A bakery and department shops were right next door. The meal served at the tapas restaurant was good.

Evening meal was surprisingly good - snails on a skewer ! Staff were friendly. Central.
Room was very basic. Internet was not easy and was chargeable. Difficult to find by car. Parking was limited and cramped. I arrived late and no parking was available, had to park on the next street. No staff to receive me at 00:30. Had to let myself in after owner gave me the passcode via mobile phone........

Breakfast
The hotel was very expensive for what we got - 220 Swiss Francs for a three person room (husband/wife and child). The room was small, but worst of all it was loud from the street noise, hot (no A/C), and the hotel light was on for most of the night outside the hotel...bringing light in the room. Without air conditioning, we were forced to keep the windows open to get some air, which meant we heard everything on the street (many cars screeching around, people yelling, etc) and lots of light came in the room, both making it very difficult to sleep. The value, given all of that was terrible. I would never recommend it. I flet like we should have gotten a partial refund, but no one was available at the front desk when we checked out in the morning.

Youth hostel standard at 3-star price (in Switzerland) or 4-star price (in most parts of the rest of the world).

I liked the room with a standard bathroom. The accommodation had a central location in the center of Sion. Besides, it was just off hiking, museums, restaurants as well as nearby restaurant.

The hotel is convenient to the train and bus stations, and so it is a perfect central spot from which to explore the surrounding communities. We savored the special apricot treats at breakfast featured each morning of our August stay.

Location was good - between the train station and the interesting parts of the city.
We stayed there on a Saturday night - there was quite a lot of noise until late from the bar/club across the road and a lot of loud drunk guys coming into the hotel at 4 am.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
